\       My closet is filled with dresses. Stripes, solids, LBD’s, prints, bright colors – this list goes on and on. The majority of them are reminders of a specific occasion, a day that was too much fun to forget, or something that Dave loves {that I’m always indifferent about – isn’t it funny when they love something you wear that you really don’t care about? ha.}. This French Connection dress is a new addition to my closet and is perfect for fall festivities. The colors feel cozy but cool and the silhouette is something I don’t usually wear but makes me feel super confident. I love the brocade and metallic detailing, perfect for upcoming weddings and festive nights out!

When I’m shopping for a new dress, I love popping into Nordstrom on Michigan Avenue because they always have the most amazing collection all in one place. Their designers are all over the board in terms of price so I know I will walk out the door with exactly what I was looking for. French Connection has always been on my radar but their dresses this season are really spot on for the season. I am smitten with this little fit and flare dress and this classic sheath dress.
