Piol Dress

Dave and I tied the knot on Saturday and are currently en route to Mexico for our honeymoon. I’ll be in and out {mostly out} while we’re away but I have some really fun posts lined up for you so make sure to pop in and say hello! More on our wedding once we return…

Are you familiar with PIOL? It is a site where you can design your perfect dress based on what color and silhouette works best for your body type and coloring. When they reached out to me to see if I was interested in designing a dress for myself, I knew I had to take advantage of the opportunity! First you choose your color palette based on your hair color, eyes, and skin tone {warmer tones – reds, orange, pinks, and greens were mine!}, then you choose your favorite silhouette {I chose a shift dress}, followed by fabric and the details of your dress {I chose to add sleeves, a shorter hem, and pockets!}. The entire process was so much fun and I was incredibly anxious to see if the dress was actually “made for me.” I was so pleasantly surprised to see the results!

I carry my weight in my hips/thighs so a shift dress is sometimes a hard fit for me, even though I’m always drawn to the style. By giving my measurements this dress fits absolutely perfectly and I am obsessed with the blushy pink color. The entire process was so much fun and I highly recommend you try it out!

Have a great week!
