Happy September! It’s back to school here in Chicago and for some reason it always feels like the start of a new year for me, too. There is something about fall that feels like the perfect time to transition into something new – a new job, new goals, a new wardrobe, new to-do’s, a new hair cut; I always crave a restart. To be honest, this always begins with my style. I pack away my printed sundresses and flowy silhouettes and opt for more structure, sweaters, distressed denim, ballet flats, and a more tailored look. Nordstrom Rack is my favorite place to stock up on fall staples for the months ahead because I can find all of my favorite brands in one place. I love stopping by the store on a weekly basis because they are constantly receiving new inventory and their product is always on trend for the current season. I picked up this contrasting sleeve Equipment blouse because I loved the subtle print and neutral colors {I can’t wait to wear it with my new blazer} and I love the way it softens up my favorite pair of distressed jeans. I’ve been craving a bright handbag for fall and this Foley & Corinna bag is the perfect pop of color. Two items that I guarantee will be on repeat in my closet for fall.
