You know that feeling when you miss an item that you wish you had purchased last season only to see it hit stores again the following year? I love that! That is when you know the piece is worth the investment, seasonal, and without a doubt a staple in your closet. I don’t know about you guys but in Chicago staples are essential. We wear the same season of clothing {think lots of layers} almost 9 months of the year and I’ve realized that instead of wasting my money on items that only last a year, it is worth it for me to invest in pieces that I know will last me much longer. I always keep a running list in my phone of items I’d like to save up for and above are a few items currently on my “worth the investment” list. Do you have any items that you’re dying to add to your closet? I am already dreaming up ways to wear each of these pieces. Now and later! {Especially the pink Tibi skirt which I lusted over last year, so pretty now with a chambray shirt and over the holidays with a sparkly top}.  I’d also like to add this leather jacket and these Stuart Weitzman boots, just saying.
