Sites that you visit on the daily without even realizing you’ve typed in the URL and magically you’re at the home page browsing new arrivals, news stories, or featured products? Yep, me too. One of my favorites is thredUP, a resale website {basically a huge consignment shop online!} that sells second hand clothing from brand name designers with prices up to 90% off! I don’t know about you but one of my favorite activities on days when I need a little me time is to browse consignment stores for a great deal. I have found some of my favorite items in my closet from consignment shops and thredUP is no different. In April they launched a collection of designer brands called the X Collection that features contemporary styles from designers like Joie, Alice + Olivia, Tory Burch, Tibi, Rebecca Minkoff, Vince, and Marc by Marc Jacobs with an average of 70% off the retail price. I snagged this adorable Joie dress in one of my all time favorite silhouettes and I know it will get a ton of wear in the coming months.

Even more exciting, thredUP’s handbag collection launches today! One of my favorite victories when shopping at a consignment store is a pretty new bag. The new handbag collection has nearly two thousand pieces in a range of styles including hobos, crossbody bags, satchels, clutches and more with an average price point of $75 {ah-mazing}. The launch collection has concentrated inventory from brands including Kate Spade New York, Coach, Cole Haan, Marc by Marc Jacobs and Michael Kors – in addition to bags from coveted fashion labels like Prada, Alexander Wang, Chloe, Hermès and Louis Vuitton. I am guilty of having a slight handbag obsession and I couldn’t be more excited for this new shop, especially since a good handbag can cost a pretty penny these days! Below are four of my favorites from their collection – you can shop all of them here! ThredUpHandbags

Finally, because it’s consignment, you have the ability to sell items in your own closet and earn up to 80% of the resale price once the item sells! You can learn more here. If you’re looking to add some new pieces to your closet for spring, or are in the market for a gorgeous new handbag, I highly recommend you check out thredUP. Not only is their inventory seriously impressive, but their team is amazing and passionate about what they deliver to us and it doesn’t go unnoticed. Happy shopping, guilt free!
