Give Your Man the Gift of Style

FacconableTrue story, my dad is the one who taught me about personal style. He has always been the best dressed in our family. He has the funniest stories about being a 26 year old in the financial industry here in Chicago, thinking he was pretty hot and splurging on nice suits – then he had two daughters and money was spent elsewhere {sorry dad!}. In general, men don’t really follow the trends – they have a classic style {unless they fell into the 90’s grunge stage, ew}, where as my mom, sister and I always let our personal styles slip away with terrible trends {remember these?}. I have a very vivid memory of shopping at Nordstrom with my dad, getting off the escalator, and bee-lining to the Façconable department so he could pick out his Christmas presents himself. He knew exactly where to go and from that point on Façconable was burned into my head as a classic brand that would forever remind me of my adorable and stylish dad {my mom is pretty cute, too (: }. So, when Nordstrom asked me to showcase their Façconable collection I couldn’t say no.

Since meeting Dave, I think he would tell you that I have slowly worked to help him build a more classic wardrobe. A few of his favorite pieces are from Façconable and their classic styles are sure to be in style for seasons and years to come. Their collection is expertly tailored {my biggest pet peeve is when men don’t where pieces that fit!}, has great prints and is constructed of luxury fabrics to make them feel extra special. If you are struggling to find an extra gift or two for the men in your lives, I highly recommend browsing the Façconable collection – the gift of style is always the best kind of gift!
