In my most recent story for R29’s My Stylist I talked about investment bags and how you don’t have to break the bank to find one that you love! The particular bag in the photos above is a Juicy Couture satchel that I scored at TJMaxx for almost 60% off the original price – the leather is buttery soft and I love the gold hardware with an oversized tassel. The most I have ever spent on a bag was for my faithful Rocco bag that within a year or two has been worn enough times to completely justify the price tag {as seen in many outfit posts!}. But, a good handbag is timeless and more often than not is worth the sometimes hefty cost. There are so many handbags that I dream of adding to my closet and the holidays seem like the perfect time to ask for a special present! And if you head to your local TJ Maxx you may just be surprised to find the bag you’ve been dreaming off nestled in the racks.
