As I get older I have realized how much of a luxury beauty products are in my life. It is such a treat when I block out time in my day to indulge in a face mask, buy myself a new fragrance, clean my makeup brushes, or stop for a mani/pedi – it’s the little things that count when life gets hectic. Nordstrom just released Katy Perry’s new fragrance Killer Queen, a fun floral scent in a bottle inspired by a queen’s scepter. They describe the scent as “fit for royalty” which got me thinking about how indulgent new beauty products can be and how {for me} they can completely lift my spirits and ignite a fresh batch of confidence. Aside from a few quick fixes here and there I tend to treat myself when it comes to my beauty regiment because not only does it help to maintain good skin care but it helps me put my best foot forward for the day – a feeling everyone could benefit from!
