For someone who wears a lot of color and struggles with your basic black and white ensemble, this combo is a no brainer. I love that the pink softens up the edgy black and makes this outfit feminine rather than feeling dark and moody. Plus, with such soft silhouettes I crave a pop of color to compliment the feel of the look! The print on the skirt is fun, sort of a graphic floral print perfect for any season. I wore it above to a brand luncheon and I already plan on wearing it with tights, a white blouse, and a statement necklace for an event next week. So many options for this little combo – I also plan to play up the edgy darkness with a leather jacket!

Would you guys believe me if I told you that this top and skirt were from Target? Yep, I know. They are killing it this season. Actually, these items have yet to hit stores {maybe, make sure to check your local store!} and I was able to get ahold of them early thanks to a fun collaboration I am working on with Target over the next three months.
