Over the past 5-6 years, my style has evolved a lot. Graduating from college, entering the working world, and relying on my own bank account to fund my {at times} expensive shopping habit has forced me to open my eyes to good quality, timeless style, and being conservative when it comes to my wardrobe. It is important to me that the pieces I purchase feel special which is why I’ve learned to let go of the small purchases and invest in items that truly reflect me and where I see my personal style evolving over the next few years. Because I am consistently receiving emails from readers asking for my wardrobe essentials, I thought I’d share a few of my favorite items in my closet. Be warned that I tend to gravitate towards novelty items because basics are obviously nice to have but it is the novelty pieces that push me to have fun with my personal style.
