Have you guys been following the NYFW hype? I have been checking in on Style.com daily to see what my favorite designers are showcasing for SS2014 and it already has me craving Spring break. I love that many collections were inspired by travel – Joie, J.Crew and Mara Hoffman {always} to be specific – showcasing print on print, all white ensembles, colorful + patterned heels, soft silhouettes, graphic and tropical prints, textured neutrals, crop tops, witty tee’s, embellishments, and bold accessories. It’s funny how excited I get for fall, and then I see the Spring collections and want to fast forward to a fresh, light palette {but it is also kind of fun to see what you already have for next season}. What were your favorites? I also loved Alice + Olivia, Rebecca Minkoff, Jill Stuart, DVF, Rebecca Taylor, Oscar de la Renta, Rachel Zoe, and Tory Burch‘s collections.
How fun is the updated flat brim hat from Joie’s Spring collection? This one is similar and fun, a definite must-have on my Spring wish list!
J.Crew teamed with Sophia Webster for their SS2014 shoe collection. Amazingggg! Speaking of J.Crew, they are offering 25% off select sweater, shirts, and tees using code FALLSTYLE. I love this sweater {I wore it here!} and I have this sweater in two colors. I also LOVE this top and have wanted this top for awhile, plus everyone needs a chambray shirt.
Thank you for you kind words about the new site! It was a big task making the jump from Blogger to WordPress, so I apologize if things seem out of sync for a couple of days {I’m still trying to get the hang of things!}. Hopefully by now everything is running smoothly. A few things to note, the CATEGORIES button on the right side bar makes it easy to access your favorite stories – you can hover over the button and see posts from outfits, girl on a budget, shop {collages}, weekend style, etc. There is also a search option where you can easily find and search past posts. Plus, browse my About page, Services page, and recent Collaborations!
