I get a lot of emails asking for suggestions on dressing for work. My day job doesn’t require me to dress professionally at all times {the perks of working for yourself!} but that doesn’t mean I don’t like to be a bit more polished from time to time. My rule of thumb is to stick to a more structured silhouette, but have fun by mixing textures and prints, choosing pieces in unexpected fabrics, and make one subtle statement. I am typically drawn to the oxford shirt/skirt combo which is why this short sleeve striped shirt and linen moto skirt are great silhouettes with a fresh update. The leopard belt and statement necklace separate the polished pieces with some fun accessories and a pop of pink on your lips pulls the whole look together.
