It was approximately four degrees when Dave snapped these photos of me. Hence the layers and extra bulk necessary for maintaining my inner body temperature. Our weekend up north was exactly what I needed – away from our apartment, away from busy life, and a place where we could have a fire lit 24 hours a day. Pretty perfect when some serious frigid weather moves in to the midwest!
