Today’s gift guide makes me happy because it’s all about the kiddos that we love so much! I know there are so many different age ranges when it comes to shopping for kids and I wanted to focus on pieces that I feel are ageless from years 1-4+. Let’s be honest, kids below the age of 1 aren’t looking for some huge gift but all of these would be items that could carry them for a few years depending on their age. Jack is about to turn two and he and Charlie are both engaged in the same types of toys so my focus was to be all-inclusive instead of specific. And make sure you read the entire post because today’s giveaway is GOOD.
If you’re overwhelmed by the toys you already have in your home then my first gift idea is a NO BRAINER. TinkerTots Boxes was started by a good friend of mine and is a monthly subscription box packed with 5 creative activities for families to do together (or to encourage creative play for your kids on their own). What I love about these boxes is that it’s not just a craft—there are intellectual elements incorporated into the crafts and I love seeing my kids’ little brains work to complete their task. A perfect gift for those Pinterest wannabe moms who just can’t get their act together (um hi that’s me!!) but want their kids to channel their creativity. I can’t recommend these boxes enough! Charlie gets so excited every time they arrive and I can’t wait to add a sibling box for Jack. This would be a great gift idea from grandparents, aunts and uncles, etc. You can set up a 6 month, month to month or 12 month subscription but imagine how excited your little one would be to receive their own box of fun every month. The gift that keeps on giving!
My kids LOVE to color and these colored pencils are perfect for on the go! I always bring something like this to restaurants but love that these roll up and are easy to throw into whatever bag I have with me! Pair with a fun coloring roll—I ordered this for Charlie and Jack because they love to lay on the floor and color!
How beautiful are these Petite Plume holiday pajamas for the entire family?! They would make for some very pretty pictures under the Christmas tree!
Charlie got this Banwood balance bike last year and LOVES it. It’s so darling! I love that Jack will use it too!
We ordered this cash register for Jack for his birthday (it’s next week!) and I feel like for some reason a cash register has been one of his favorite toys since he turned one. We had a plastic one when he was little and I know he will be so excited for this one! Charlie will probably love it, too!
Ok how amazing is this ball pit? I have two girlfriends who have this in their family room and all of the kids go nuts for it! I love that you can choose from different color options and that the pit itself is soft. Seriously I’m ordering this for our basement!
Our boys were obsessed with this counting/stacking game when we visited our cousins in Denver last weekend! Charlie loved it for counting and Jack was doing so well matching colors!
Also to note: I have some more gift ideas for kids + our favorite kids’ books in my Amazon Shop!
