My style this time of year revolves heavily around rich colors, plaids, fair isle, cozy textures (think corduroys, denim, knits, velvet) and layers. I love a theme around the holidays and as we lead up to Thanksgiving I consider these things for almost every outfit I put together. After Thanksgiving it is all about festive flair and shiny details so I am leaning in to a cozier, classic style until then! This outfit feels very timely. I wore this for a morning meeting at the kids school followed by a coffee shop work session and lunch with friends. A look that is comfortable but styled.
I didn’t realize how much I would love this plaid skirt from Few Moda! I am short waisted and have always loved the look of a drop waist but felt intimidated by it. This skirt totally surprised me and I know I’ll be reaching for it again and again. I think this outfit would be perfect for Thanksgiving, too.
