Family Favorite Green Protein Smoothie

Our entire family has been on a smoothie kick lately and I feel like I’ve kind of perfected my green protein smoothie recipe! I had been feeling like I was really lacking fiber in my diet so I needed a way to slip in some extra servings. Jack is also our VERY picky eater but he LOVES smoothies so finding one that is packed with protein is an extra bonus. After our workouts we’ve been making a big batch for the entire family to enjoy! I’m going to share what we use but you may need to add more or less depending on how many you’re serving.

GREEN PROTEIN SMOOTHIE RECIPE

Ingredients:
1.5 cups almond milk
1 big handful of spinach
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I love this and this)
1 frozen banana
1 spoonful of chia seeds
1 spoonful of ground flaxseed
a scoop of ice
dash of cinnamon

Combine in a Vitamix or blender and enjoy! Honestly though, if you have been thinking about a Vitamix, there is no comparison to how they blend smoothies vs. a regular blender. Smoothest smoothie every time!
