A Festive Christmas Cocktail

Only 3 more sleeps until Christmas! We leave to see our family tomorrow morning and today I wanted to share a quick, easy festive champagne cocktail recipe that my sister, my mom and I always make around the holidays. I picked up the prettiest champagne glasses from Ballard Designs (I even bought a set for my sister/brother in law when they found out they were pregnant!) that I love to use around the holidays. From now until New Years Day is champagne season, wouldn’t you agree? I had a few girls coming over for a little Christmas brunch with our kiddos so before I finished setting the table I wanted to share this quick recipe:

Festive Champagne Cocktail Recipe

What you’ll need:

colored sugar for rim (I find this in the baking section in a sprinkle shaker)
frozen cranberries (I buy these fresh, wash and put into freezer)
cranberry juice
your favorite champagne or prosecco

Put sugar on a plate and use a paper towel to wet rim of glass. Dip glass in sugar to coat the rim. Fill champagne flute with 1 tbsp of cranberry juice (you don’t want too much) and fill the rest of your glass with champagne/prosecco. Add frozen cranberries and serve!

Easy, right? The perfect cocktail for Christmas Eve, Christmas morning, NYE and really any day! I filled up my 3 Tiered Stand from Ballard with pastries and sweets alongside my favorite LED Porcelain Christmas Trees and these gorgeous Jacqueline Collection plates and Leopard Accent Plates. You can get links to our entire dining room which we decorated with Ballard Designs here. It’s truly one of my favorites rooms in our home! So warm and welcoming. My favorite place to host our family and friends.
