On Wednesday, November 29th, Dave and I welcomed Jack Merrill Adams to the world at 4:56pm. He is a tiny peanut and we are so in love!

Jack was actually 1.5 lbs heavier than Charlie was at birth which is crazy because he seems so little. We are enjoying every coo, all of the newborn smells and his sweet disposition so much. He has lots of dark hair (compared to his blondie brother!), the longest toes and reminds me so much of Charlie as a newborn. 

Charlie is adjusting to his new roll as big brother! It’s amazing how much of a toddler he seems like now (newborns are so quiet!). Charlie feels HUGE! I swear we spent two nights in the hospital and came home to this teenager with monster thighs. He walks around the house saying “hi baby!” and we’ve been making sure he is very included with his new brother.

I’ve been feeling all of the feels watching my first baby share the spotlight. You guys were so right when you say your heart just doubles in size. It is so so true. The moment Jack was born it felt like all was right in the world. Our family feels even more complete than I could have ever imagined. Although I have a small ache in my heart watching Charlie struggle with mama not being able to hold him at all times. I’m trying to give him extra love. 

Webster is doing well, too! He actually doesn’t seem to be phased one bit. If he can handle Charlie, he can handle anything. 

Thank you for all of the love and support on Instagram! We are so excited to start the new chapter in our lives. Bringing a child into the world is such a miracle and I feel so blessed that we are able to grow our family. It’s crazy to think that this little peanut was in my stomach just a few days ago! I’m forever grateful for two healthy, perfect little boys.
